U15s v Kenilworth (away), 25/04/10

Kings Heath 146 for 6 in 25 overs (Josh Baker 68, Tom Salliss 40, Umar Rehman 18)

Kenilworth 147 for 4 in 18 overs

KENILWORTH WON BY 6 WICKETS

Kings Heath lost the toss and were put into bat in difficult conditions. Openers Tom Salliss (40 runs from 54 balls) and Josh Baker (68 runs from 59 balls) put on a partnership of 89 before Tom was bowled by the first ball that stayed low all morning - just pitching and dying before hitting the stumps. Under 14 Umar Rehman also contributed 18 to the team total, as Kings Heath finished on 146 for 6 from 25 overs.

This was a decent total to defend, but unfortunately due to a combination of poor bowling, poor fielding and strong batting, Kenilworth managed to knock off the total in 18 overs. A disappointing result.
